He was predeceased by: his parents, Geert Boessenkool and Hendrikje Boessenkool (Nee-Mannes); and his siblings, Wim (Geri), Klaas (Thea), Henk (Evie), Hilda (Hank), Gerry (May), Margaret (Matt) and Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Darryl (Anna), Derek (Jenn) and Tennille; his grandchildren, Tyler, Mackenzie, Alex and Levi; and his siblings, Tiny and Harry (Joanne).
