With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Cowdell (Edmonton, Alberta), whose life came to an end on October 13, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of John Cowdell to show support.

He was predeceased by: his significant other Georgina; his parents, Charles and Dorothea; and his sister Margaret Heinish (Ed). He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Vanderford (Tim) and Darla Cowdell; his grandchildren, Richard (Stephanie), Gregory and Kristia; his great grandchildren, Mason, Olivia and Connor; his brothers, Roger (Helen) and Allan (Sheila); and his siblings-in-law, Richard and Marie Hall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Park Memorial Chapel (9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A burial was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
