He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gattens and Margaret Gattens; his wife Molly; and his brother-in-law Charlie. He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Norma) and John (Sally); his grandchildren, Kaeli (Stephen), Rory (Amy), Elder (Melissa), Joshua (Ewa) and Christopher (Emma); and his great grandchildren, Bowen, Alessandro, Santino and Matteo.
