John Gattens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2025, at the age of 87, John Gattens in Edmonton, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gattens and Margaret Gattens; and his brother-in-law Charlie. He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Norma) and John (Sally); his grandchildren, Kaeli (Stephen), Rory (Amy), Elder (Melissa), Joshua (Ewa) and Christopher (Emma); and his great grandchildren, Bowen, Alessandro, Santino and Matteo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Albert Funeral Home (9 Muir Dr, St. Albert, AB T8N 1G1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
