He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Phyllis. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley (Hamzeh) and Laurel (Matt); his stepson Allan; his grandchildren, Mahmoud, Yehya, Aisha and Sabreen; and his sisters, Debbie (Brent) and Patti (Lee). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
