John Ropcean Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ropcean (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on February 17, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ropcean and Annie Ropcean; and his parents-in-law, Andrew and Medoria Cherniwchan. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Ken Ropcean (Emily), Kevin Ropcean (Sharlene), Jocelyn Wellwood (Keith) and Jason Ropcean (Pam); his grandchildren, Brandon, Ethan, Selena and Shaun; his siblings, Victor Ropcean (Grace), Caroline Wiwat, Sylvia Cox, Marcia Bochar, Gerry Ropcean and Marge Ropcean; and his brother-in-law Ernie Cherniwchan (Pat). He is also survived by three step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
