She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles, Betty West and Irving Leland; her uncles, Nels West and Brent Leland; and her aunt Lyla.
She is survived by: her parents, Larry West and Karen West (Leland); her children, Rachel Haekel (Brodie) and Jaden Zabel; the father of her children Andreas Zabel; her siblings, Steve West (Glenna) and Lisa Taylor (Greg); her grandmother Lois Leland; her fiancé Jeff Hein; her fiancé's children, Aaron and Brenna; and her nieces and nephews, Dylan, Chayse, Trystan, Addison, Chloe and Ivy. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Legacy Centre (3550 76 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6B2N8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
