He is survived by: his wife Fátima Maria Ferro; his children, Jan Carrola (Joe), Ann Helland (David) and Elvis Ferro; his grandchildren, Jada Fleur (Kyle), Matthew Carrola (Rachal), Brittany Harper (Cameron), Angel Hennig (Anthony), Siana Helland (Peter) and Sean Helland; his great grandchildren, Ollie Noel, Deacon Hennig and Remi Legare; and his siblings, Delia Fernandes, Innes Bearchell, Jamie Ferro and Isabel Bordeleau Ferro.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the North Pointe Community Church (14025 167 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6V1J5).
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
