It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Kurylo (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on October 14, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Kurylo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva and Harry; and his siblings, Nicholas, Esther, Irene (Harry), Eugenia (Steven) and Methodius.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Jason and James (Adie); his grandchildren, Jonah, Jasper, Micah, Kaleia and Ari; and his sister Jane Gubersky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church (7007 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H3B9).
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate or the St. Basil's Church Renovation Fund.
