He is survived by: his wife Helga; his children, Bernd (Corry) and Marion (Roger); his grandchildren, Morgan (Trix), Krista, Nolan, Amanda, McKayla, Jordin (Sarah) and Alea (Kyle); his great grandchild Iris; his daughters, Sandra, Renee and Tricia; and his grandsons, Spencer, Joshua and Mathew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
