It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Ann Welbourn (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joy Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joy Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Welbourn and Charles Welbourn; and her caregiver Joy. She is survived by: her friends, Karen Tyrrell, Robert Fleming, Jerry Paravicini, Gloria Sevigny and Marnie Rutledge; and her legal guardians, Kathleen Tyrrell and Lee Ann Tyrrell.
