She was predeceased by: her father Russell; and her sister Beverly. She is survived by: her mother Marjorie; her children, Luke, Alek and Amanda; and her close friends, Todd and Pam. She is also survived by her brother, sisters, in-laws, many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's name to The Edmonton Humane Society.
