She was predeceased by: her great-grandparent Joyce Tkach (Josie); her husband Paul; her son Barry; her parents, Franko and Rozalia; and her siblings, John (Jean), Annie (Jim), Mike (Hazel), Mary (John), Leo, Helen (Elias), Pete (Edith), Walter (Helen), Joe (Hilda), Adolph (Jennie), Carol (Joe), Emily (Walter), Vicki and Frank (Gundra).

She is survived by: her daughters, Debi (Barry) and Wendy (Clarence); her grandchildren, Breanne (Joe), Tyler (Silvia), Jared (Danielle), Scott (Amelia) and Jordan; and her great grandchildren, Sebastien, Zach, Colbie, Jayce, Myer, Brooke and Alexis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alberta Lung Association, the Misericordia Community Hospital (Critical Care), or Crohn's and Colitis Alberta/Northwest Territories Region.
