She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Murphy; her children, Robert Murphy Sr., Donald Murphy (Martine) and Heather Carmichael (Ernest); her grandson Andrew Murphy; her parents, Dorothy Chandler and Sidney Chandler; and her siblings, Alfred Chandler, Harold Chandler and Ruth Erikson.
She is survived by: her son Gordon Murphy; her daughter-in-law Beverley Murphy (late Robert Murphy Sr.); and her grandchildren, Robert Murphy Jr., Gregory Murphy (Roza) and Shelley Murphy. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y 6A2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or to the charity closest to your heart.
