He was predeceased by: his brother Brian; his mother Edna Ortega; his stepfather Jesus Ortega; and his sister-in-law Sue. He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Jesse Aluki, Robin Dakus (Stuart), Mike Snell and Chris Lak; his sisters-in-law, Katy Campbell (Rick) and Jan Sutherland; his niece Courtney Wells (Parker, family: Patty Moar, Lindy Maschmeyer); and his cousin Margaret-Ann Young (family: Kelly Goodman Jelich).
