He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; his parents, Wasyl and Mary; his siblings, Andrew and Lillian; his niece Orishia; and his nephews, Darren and Zynoviy.
He is survived by: his children, Rod (Cindy), Myra (Andy) and Colleen (Kevin); his grandchildren, Lee (Brandon), Amera (Moshe), Shanna (David), Luke (Kyria), Tyler, Kyle (Katie) and Kalyna (Mike); his great grandchildren, Emmeline, Julia, Gavin, Austin and Eden; and his siblings, Rachel (Bob) and John (Judy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel (16204 Fort Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y6A2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Julian's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
