She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Schelstraete and Nellie Schelstraete; her brother Hector Jr.; and her brother-in-law Alec Batt. She is survived by: her husband Allen; her son Allen Jr.; her grandsons, Connor and Hayden; and her sister Diane Batt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity that supports dementia research or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
