June will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour June by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though June is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. June’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lakusta and Ann Lakusta; and her brothers, David and Nester Lakusta. She is survived by: her husband George; her son Charles (Melanie); and her granddaughter Larissa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Park Memorial Chapel (9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2).
