We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2020, Kathleen Briner of Edmonton, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Donald; her siblings, John Hauck (Jack) and Anne Welda (Ralph); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Hauck and Neil Barnes.

She is survived by : her children, Daniel Briner (Erin), Lori Opdendries (Derek), David Briner (Patricia), Doug Briner and Grant Briner; her grandchildren, Colin Opdendries (Christina), Lee-Anne Scherger (Kyle), Lindsey Janssen (Jamie), Ryan Opdendries (Jennifer), Carolyn Briner, Martin Briner, Diana Opdendries, Kevin Briner (Elise), Taylor Briner, Lauren Briner and Sheldon Briner; her great grandchildren, Madisyn, Kayla Opdendries, Jordan, Kailynn Scherger, Quinn, Lila Janssen, Beau and Oaklynn Opdendries; her siblings, Rosemarie Barnes and Henry Hauck (Bud); and her sister-in-law Rose Hauck.

There will no service at this time due to Covid 19.

Memorial donations may be made to the International Literacy Association in honour of her love of reading and children.
