She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh; her daughter Patricia; her parents, Mary Ward and William Ward; and her brother William Ward (Bill).
She is survived by: her family, Maureen Crerar, Peter Crerar (Donna) and Colleen Hook (Ron); her grandchildren, Kelly Fowler (Jim), Michael Crerar, Nathan Gow, Erin Crerar (Cam), Matthew Hook (Martina), Kirsten Sorrell (Chris) and Andrea Brown (Chad); her great grandchildren, Oliver Fowler, Hugh Fowler, Jaeger Sorrell, Audrey Toews, Ryker Sorrell, Kira Sorrell, Nicholas Hook, Emma Brown and Lucas Hook; her brothers, Edwin Ward (Eileen) of Sherwood Park and Kenneth Ward (Ruth) of South Africa; her sister-in-law Joan Ward of Maple Ridge, BC; and her cousin Catherine Trudeau of Quebec. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Although Kathleen struggled with Alzheimer's disease in her later years, she continued to be kind and respectful to others and enjoyed visits from family and friends.
