He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnar and Joan; his sister Marilyn; and his father-in-law Bill Stacey. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Robert (Tracy), Kathryn (Matt) and David (AnneMarie); his grandchildren, Kale, Ally Okerman, Nathan and Carson McKeever; his brother Lorne (Kim); and his nephews, Justin (Jessica) and Graham (Kathleen). He is also survived by many cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Ken Okerman to the Sturgeon Rural Crime Watch Association.
