He was predeceased by: his wife Rita; and his brothers, Gerald "Bud" and Robert "Bob". He is survived by: his children, Ken (Diane), Barry (Emily), Laurie and Randy (Mary-Anne); his grandchildren, Lee (Laura), Jesse (Karen), Luke (Nicole), Julia, John, Kimberley, Ava and Lucy; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Isabelle, Naomi, Saige, Benjamin, Margot, Ruby and Baptiste; and his sister Rowena Forsyth (Ray). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the University of Alberta.
