He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis; his brother Patrick (Bernadette); his parents-in-law, Bill and Velma; and his brother-in-law Francis (Kathleen).

He is survived by: his father Patrick; his wife Edna; his sister Angela (Bruce); his children, Sean (Stephanie), Heather (Allan), Carolyn (René), Shannon and Ryan (Shree); his grandchildren, Sarah, Allison, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Kaia; his siblings-in-law, Joanne (Larry), Rita (Larry) and Billy; and his pet Murphy.
