He was predeceased by: his parents, Doloris Malo and Pat Malo; his sister Sherry Clark (Bob); and his stepson Jonathan Schreiner. He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Steve Malo of Craven, Kelly Malo (Flavia) of Sturgeon County, Colleen Duval (Maurice) of Edmonton, Kate Boschman (Tim) of Edmonton, Mike Malo (Nadia) of Morinville and Jennifer Larochelle (Joseph) of Edmonton; his siblings, Pam Burr (Norm) and Brett Malo (Anne) of Blind Bay, B. C.; his grandchildren, Brittany, Kelly Joan, Tristan, Hailey, Matthew, Abigail, Logan, Hunter, Maxwell and Theodore; and his great grandchild Ophelia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kim's honour to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
