We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 72, Kurt William Katzmar (Edmonton, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marcia; his daughters, Rachel (Jacob) and Grace; his sisters, Janie (Aage) and Christine (Christopher); his grandsons, Daniel, Caleb and Isaac; his in-laws, David and Doug (Mary-Anne); and his parents, Gunther Katzmar and Phyllis Katzmar. He was also cherished by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the All Saints' Anglican Cathedral.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Bissel Centre in Edmonton.
