He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Edith Midwinter (Littlechild) and Jack Midwinter (Jack); his siblings, Bob (Margaret Midwinter), Jessie (Edward Martel), Sid Midwinter (Anne), Alfred Tricker (Laverne), Roy Midwinter (Laurina), Lawrence Grenier (Margaret) and Ken Hintz (Alfred Midwinter); his nephews, Brian and Lorne Martel; his mother-in-law Myrtle Andersen; his sister Sharon; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Doberstein and Gary Andersen.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Lara Midwinter (Don Arcand), Lana (Randy Skinner) and Stacy (Shaun Bauer); his grandchildren, Maura McGurk, Taryn Bauer, Cody Skinner, Braiden Bauer and Cassidy Skinner; his godson Randy Hintz; and his sister-in-law Linda Midwinter. He is also survived by 13 nieces and 8 nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (14339 50 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5A0S9).
