He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Davison Schumacher (Mclauchlin) and Francis Joseph Schumacher (Pat); his sister Frances Rampling; his brothers-in-law, Otto Wyers, George Nickel and Kenneth Gatenby; and his wife Clara Nickel.
He is survived by: his son Brian Schumacher (Barb); his grandchildren, Chris, Sarah Fuchs (Brad) and Brad; his children, Dave Schumacher (Brenna Rieberer) and Barb Kellock (Gary); his grandchildren, Nick (Tasha), Daynon and Austen; his daughter Marilyn Deblue (Jean Pierre); his grandchildren, Mark, Shawn and Laura; his daughter Janet Tryhuba (Jerry); his grandchildren, Andrew (Allie) and Kyle (Jess Dugas); his daughter Lori Nikiforuk (Nick); his grandchildren, Ryan, Cole and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Graffin, Lydon, Michael, Claire and Zoey; his sister Shirley Gatenby; and his siblings-in-law, Leona Wyers, Doris Nickel, Karen Nickel and Harry Nickel.
