The passing of Laura Boon of Edmonton, Alberta leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gorman Noel and Frances Rose Noel (Kowalski); her husband Edgar Boon (Ted) of Hazel Bluff; her sister-in-law Rhoda Mary Boon; her mother-in-law Lois Winifred; her siblings, Lyle Gerald Noel (Ann) and Theo Jeannine Piercy (Al); her aunt Stella Marie Gamber (Clarence); her nephew Richard Noel; her niece Donna Fowler (Noel); and her granddaughter Amanda Boon.

She is survived by: her children, Lois Thompson (Rod) of Prince Albert, Wendy Clarahan (Greg) of Edmonton, Trish Boon-Anderson (Dan) and Leonard Boon (Fiona Chesney) of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Ryley Thompson (Carey-Ann Burnham) of St. Louis, Missouri, Ila Gayowski (Paul) of Red Deer, Graham Clarahan (Amanda) of Edmonton, Jenna Clarahan (Ben Rix) of Edmonton, David Boon of Calgary, Nicole Boon of Edmonton, Ishan Chatterjee and Riyanka Chatterjee; her great grandchildren, Brycen, Kinley Gayowski of Red Deer and Wesley Clarahan of Edmonton; her siblings, Audrey May Modin (Louis), Agnes Doreen Humphries (Lindsay) of Ottawa and Gorman Douglas Noel (Dorothy) of Westlock; and her brother-in-law Allan Piercy of Campbell River. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hazel Bluff Hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Hazel Bluff United Church.
