She was predeceased by: her father Peter Pan; and her aunt Sheila. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Benz of Calgary, AB; her mother Brenda Pan of Victoria, BC; her daughter Alexandra; her son-in-law Arvind Azariah; her sons, Nathan Benz and Zachary Benz of Wellington, NZ; her grandsons, Ellis, Mikkel and Reuel Azariah; her brother Stephen; her sister-in-law Teresa Pan; and her sisters, Susan (Danny Der) and Christine Pan (Loring Holdal). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Additional memorial trees will be planted through Canadian conservation and reforestation initiatives, as a result of memorial contributions.
