With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lawrence Tallas (Edmonton, Alberta), born in Lamont, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lawrence left this world on August 23, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike and Annie; and his siblings, Joe, John, Vicky Lucyk, Jeanne Daley, Lena Sawka and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Rodney Tallas, Wesley Tallas (Cheryl) and Pamela Hunter (Chris); his grandchildren, Nicholas Tallas, Faith Tallas, Cole Hunter and Ryley Hunter; his siblings, Steve and Mary Rozak; and his brothers-in-law, Andy Sawka and Richard Daley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to the Covenant Foundation to support the Grey Nuns Community Hospital Palliative Care, Unit #43 and CCU Unit #24 so that they may continue their excellent service to patients and families.
