He was predeceased by: his parents, Monette Laventure (Fournier) and Emile Laventure; his wife Yvette Laventure; and his siblings, Art, Johnny, Vic (Alberta), Margaret and Etta.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne (Dwayne), Renée (Jeff), Joanne (Darren), Jocelyn (Mark) and Louis (Tracey); his grandchildren, Shannon, Kaylee (Steve), Scott (Jayleen), Dylan, Carsyn (Isaac), James, Ben (Katie), Lucy (Aidan), Sydni (Russell), Alexi, Halli, Ethan (Megan), Marc and Kaylyn; and his great grandchild Kilian. He is also survived by his many relatives, nieces, nephews.
