He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and Adolph; and his siblings, Adam, Katherine, Peter, Tony and Alvina.
He is survived by: his siblings, Angie Lang-Thirsk and Donald Gartner (Celine). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A prayer was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Basilica (10044 113 St, Edmonton, AB T5K1N8). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
