Leonila Urbi Ringor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonila Urbi Ringor (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Juan O. Ringor; her parents, Simplicio Urbi and Gregoria Urbi; and her siblings, Felipa (Cruz), Faustina Maquiraya, Hermana Constantino, Franciso Urbi, Cipriana Burgos and Anastacio Urbi.
She is survived by: her children, Clarita Yabis, Lourdes McBride (Ian), Nena Bitun (Johnny), Amy Ringor, Benita Duppayan (Santiago), Julito Ringor (Elsie), Remedios Arafiles (Midel), Marjorie Ursulum (Marlon) and Vicky Libunao (Danny). She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Theresa's Catholic Church (7508 29 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6K3Y8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Cemetery (4814 Meridian St NW, Edmonton, AB T6P1R3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in memory of Leonila.
