He was predeceased by: his parents, László and Julia; his siblings, Louie (Lillian), Margaret (Jim) and Clara (Bob); and his nephew Leslie Soper.

He is survived by: his wife Julia; and his sons, Lyle (Grant) and Lyndon. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
