With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lionel Joseph Blais of Edmonton, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lionel Joseph left this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Blais and Albertine Blais; his brother Jean-Charles Blais; and his siblings-in-law, Berthe Pelchat Blais, Dwayne Classen and Marcel Salley.

He is survived by: his wife Laurianne Collins-Blais; his children, Marianne Blais, Ginette Blais and Pierre Blais; and his sisters, Juliette Salley, Rolande Simard, Francoise Levasseur, Leonore Johnston and Michelle Classen. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas D'Aquin Catholic Church (8410 89 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6C4N3).
