He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carol Nicol; his children, Shari Cronk (Russ) and Mike Fekete; his grandchildren, Liam, Logan Cronk, Mya and Jayda Fekete; his siblings-in-law, Brian, Reg Nicol, Yvonne Kerber, Carol Fekete and Bonnie Nicol; and his nieces and nephews, Carol, Patricia, Brenda, Kim, Stefanie, Lindsay, Grant, Jim, Brent and Josh.

His willingness to always help others also led to him to donate over 170 blood donations with Red Cross and Canadian Blood Services.
