He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Henri and Rose Alma Lirette; his siblings, Leo Lirette, Paul Lirette, Rosemarie Gendre and Lucille Neyron; and his son Marc Lirette.

He is survived by : his daughter Marie Hébert (Marc); his grandchildren, Mathieu, Émilie and Pierre; his son Joseph Lirette (Chantal); his sister Henriette Lirette; and his siblings-in-law, Leon Gendre and Cécile Lirette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a Virtual Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p. m. on Friday, April 16, 2021.

“I am also very grateful to Louie for being Dad's travelling partner and in 2011 they took a trip out East. I was blessed to have them come to Kingston for a few days and then they returned a few years later when they attended the Canadian Senior Games. I can only imagine that Dad and Louie has reunited in heaven and sharing a drink together and catching up for the past few years. Louie -- thanks for being a part of our family as well. Teresa Alm”
