Lovie Ruby Hlus Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lovie Ruby Hlus (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away at the age of 88, on March 19, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Steve; her parents, Steve Wowdzia and Jenny Wowdzia; and her brothers, Henry and Ed (Bettye Wowdzia).

She is survived by: her children, Ken Hlus (Barb) and Carol Torpe (Floyd); her brother Tom Wowdzia (Sophie); her grandson Jason Hlus (Christine Fedorek); and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Dakota, Chase and Cole. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, we will be honoring Lovie with a private service on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 10:00 am, with Reverend Janko Herbut officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation or one's charity of choice.
