She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Martin and Theresa Martin; her husband Earl Unick; and her friend Wilma Devlin. She is survived by: her children, Murray Unick (Colette Fernandes) and Theresa Chalifoux (Grant); her grandchildren, Talia Chalifoux, Aiden Chalifoux and Amaya Chalifoux; her sister-in-law Alvena Unick; and her friends, Bessie Diggins, Lorraine Champagne and Claire Tomko. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (9830 148 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5N3E8).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lynda may be made to the Roozen Family Hospice Centre (https://pilgrimshospice.com) or the Edmonton Humane Society.
