Mafalda Sdao Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Mafalda Sdao (Edmonton, Alberta) is shared. Mafalda passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carmine; her son Mario; her parents, Michelino Santelli and Erminia Santelli; and her parents-in-law, Francesco and Teresa Sdao.
She is survived by: her children, Frank, Mike Sdao (Lisa) and Teresa Wasylenko (Tom); her grandchildren, Ryan (Jenna), Daniel (Dajana), Stephanie (Krzysztof), Jacob, Zachary and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Sofia, Giada, Giuliana, Niko, Luka, Francesca, Gabriella and Seraphina; and her caregivers, Sarah, Delia and Mafalda.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church (9110 110 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H4A1). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, or to a charity of one's choice.
