We bid farewell to Maria Benincasa of Edmonton, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 9, 2026 at the age of 88. Maria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evangelista Donato and Maria Donato; her husband Gino Benincasa; her siblings, Dominico Donato and Saveria Feroleto; and her niece Marisa Fabiano.
She is survived by: her sisters, Iolanda Fabiano, Anna Maria Donato and Giuseppina Corea; and her nieces and nephews, Catherine Benincasa, Maria Donato, Monica Fabiano, Luigi Benincasa, Salvatore Corea, Angelo Corea and Angelo Donato. She is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Park Memorial (9709-111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church (9110 110 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H4A1).
