Mayke was a cherished friend of my parents Larry and Cecile Martindale and our families grew up together in the St. Albert community. Mayke and Cecile were fellow potters and founding members of the St. Albert Arts and Crafts Guild. I have many fond memories of the Byl family, ski holidays to Jasper, chats with Mayke and Len over the years. It was truly a privilege to know her and her amazing family. RIP Ken Martindale”
