Maria touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Maria’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gabriele; her parents, Giovanni Marrelli and Francesca Marrelli; and her sister Raffaela Pasqual (Virginio). She is survived by: her children, Roberto (Livia) and Susan; and her granddaughters, Cassandra (Armando) and Christina.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Park Memorial (9709-111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church (9110 110 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H4A1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
