Maria Tagliamonte Obituary

We announce the death of Maria Tagliamonte (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on October 15, 2026. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo; her son Joe (Maria); and her siblings, Mario, Pietro, Gino, Gennaro and Antonietta.

She is survived by: her children, Antonietta Valerio (Mario) and John Tagliamonte (Daniela); her grandchildren, Julia (Neil), Joseph, Tanya, Angelo, Lorenzo (Stephanie) and Fabio; and her sister Carmela Armani. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Park Memorial (9709-111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church (9110 110 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H4A1). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
