She was predeceased by: her husband Jocelyn Ouimet (Joe); her parents, Maurice Phaneuf and Hélèna Phaneuf (L'Heureux); and her siblings, Lucien Phaneuf (Gabrielle), Thérèse McCaffrey (Henry), Hubert Phaneuf (Norma) and Madeleine Phaneuf.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory, Jacqueline, Pierre (Angèle) and Stéphane (Ben); her grandchildren, Amy (Ted), Lynn, Alexander, Natalie, Britannie (Austin) and Dominic; her great grandchildren, Cierra, James and Joey; and her sisters, Pauline Simonot (Denis), Louise Hall and Annette Laplante.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (12720 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5M2N7). A prayer was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jean Baptiste Parish Rebuild Fund in Morinville, AB.
