He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Roggeveen and Ethel Roggeveen; his siblings, Doug Roggeveen and Ethel Lauritsen; and his son-in-law Abe Reimer.
He is survived by: his sibling Sedgewick; his wife Helen Smela; his children, Greg (Nikki Roggeveen), Sharon Reimer, Diane (Ken Turba), Brenda (Darrell Hyska), Kevin Roggeveen and Colin (Jenn Roggeveen); his grandchildren, Jason, Nolan, Jennifer, Ryan, Andrew, Amanda, Cory, Byron, Josh, Katelin, Jesse, Jordan, Kirsten, Chelsea, Christian and Ethan; and his siblings, Beatrice Stevenson, Alan, Jeannette Roggeveen, Doris Ring and Margaret Simms. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews & other relatives.
