We announce the death of Mario Blaskovic (Edmonton, Alberta), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 86. Mario will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Mario will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Mario’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Josip Blaskovic and Ana Blaskovic; his significant other Marilyn; and his siblings, Amelia, Josip, Jovakin and Ivan.
He is survived by: his nephew Davor. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Park Memorial Chapel (9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5G0B2).
