Marliese Zapf Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marliese Zapf of Edmonton, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marliese Zapf to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Marliese's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marliese has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her husband Manfred; her daughter Gabriele Kolind (Mike); her grandchildren, Katherine, Michelle (Fergus) and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Lukas, Ella, Henry and Eoin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (10 Akins Dr, St. Albert, AB T8N2P4). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Foyer Lacombe Covenant Care or St. Albert Sturgeon Hospice Association.
