She is survived by: her husband Howard Nelson Yates (Bud); her children, Mark (Tonya) and Maureen (Gary); her grandchildren, Kristen (Kyle), Michelle (Dylan), Maxxwell and Kai; her stepgrandchildren, Rollin, Lexi (Robert) and Cade; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kamryn and Kynlee.
Given the current pandemic restrictions, a celebration of Mary Joan's life will be held at a later date.
