Maxine Marilyn (Gill) Hawkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Marilyn (Gill) Hawkins in Edmonton, Alberta, born in Tofield, Alberta, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Don; her parents, Lawerence and Gladys; and her siblings-in-law, George, Lyle, Shirley, Marjorie and Pat.

She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Debbie (Bob) and Diane (Tony); her grandchildren, Aimee (Jordan), Carly (Sawyer), Chelsea (Tyler), Michael and Andrew (Brianna); her great grandchildren, Bruce and Carter; her children, Jack and Kim; her siblings, Ernest, Calvin (Jean), Allan (Barb) and Gail (Con); and her siblings-in-law, Roy (Margaret), Ray (Alta), Laverne and Margaret. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Maxine's name to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Stollery Children's Hospital.
