Melissa Cardinal Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Cardinal of Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 38. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Randy Cardinal; her sister Alexis Cardinal; her grandparents, James Cardinal, Margaret Rose Cryer and David Dumais; her aunt Sharon Cardinal; her uncle Milton Cryer; and her close friend Emery Jackson (Herman Cryer).
She is survived by: her children, Emery Jr. Jackson, Uniqua Stamp Cardinal, Nevaeh Stamp Cardinal, Alonzo Stamp Cardinal and Ava Stamp Cardinal; the father of her children Randall Stamp; her mother Emily Cryer; her siblings, Nelson Saddleback (Lana), Nicole Cardinal, Jeffery Cardinal, Jamie Cardinal, Ben Cardinal and Marshall Saddleback; and her grandmothers, Mary O. Cardinal and Alice Cryer. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
A wake was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ayiwakes Cultural Centre (404a 50TH St, Saddle Lake, AB T0A3T0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
